Final day of Busan Cup, International Women’s Match Race

The last day of the regatta saw light breeze delay the start of the action and the Petit final (first score one point) and Final (first score two points) were completed before the end of regatta fun fleet race.

In the Petit-Finals, Renee Groeneveld (NED) defeats Sharon Ferris (CAN) 1-0 to secure third place in the event and in the Finals, Camilla Ulrikkeholm (DEN) defeats Stephanie Hazard (NZL) (2-0)

Camilla Ulrikkeholm and her Danish team of Christel Jappe Teglers, Josefine Boel Rasmussen, Louise Ulrikkeholm and Sara Keir Wright won the 2011 Busan Cup and US$20,000 in prize money.

Stephanie Hazard and her Kiwi team of Susannah Pyatt, Jenna Hansen, Carla Holgate and Keryn McMaster took second place and won US$15,000. Renee Groeneveld and her Dutch team of Marcelien De Koning, Claire Blom, Annemieke Bes and Kelly Clarijs won the bronze medals and $12,000.
