Saint Quay Women’s Match Racing 2011 - Day One
The excellent sailing conditions in Saint Quay allowed for a very full day of racing to open up the competition for the fourteen top teams competing in the ISAF Grade 1 St Quay Women’s Match Racing 2011. Anne-Claire Le Berre (FRA) leads the way with 6 wins from 7 matches sailed. Lucy Macgregor (GBR) is close behind with 5 wins from 6 matches. Rita Gonçalves (POR) rounds out the top 3 with 4 wins from 5 matches. With a full round robin scheduled for the 14 teams, there is still quite a bit of racing to be completed tomorrow before the top 8 teams move on to the quarter-finals.
