NZL Sailing Team Women’s Match Racing Championship - Day One
Day One of the NZL Sailing Team Women’s Match Racing Championship in Wellington greeted the sailors with excellent match racing conditions - 10 knots of breeze from the south with bright sunshine. The five teams made it most of the way through the triple round robin with only two flights remaining for Saturday.

Stephanie Hazard and her Koru Match Team (Jenna Hansen and Susannah Pyatt) lead the way with a perfect record of 11 wins from 11 matches. they look certain to advance directly into the Finals while the remaining four teams fight it out in the Repechage Round Robin to see who will join them.

Big breeze is forecast for Saturday afternoon, so the organizers are hoping to get through the remaining opening round robin flights and the Repechage before the big breeze comes in.
