Koo Wins Malaysian Match Racing Championships
KUALA LUMPUR, 5 September 2007 (From UK-Halsey Newsletter):

For the second consecutive year, Tiffany Koo and her UK-Halsey Gapurna team emerged champions in the open Malaysian Match Racing Championships at the Heritage Bay Club and Marina in Pulau Duyong. The 22-year-old skipper was in a league of her own from day one when she breezed through the group stage to the final round without losing a single race. Her 3-0 win over Navy Team skipper Mohd Razali Mansor in the final round earned her a berth in the Monsoon Cup on Nov. 28-Dec 2 at the same venue. Tiffany, who finished last in the Monsoon Cup last year, said "It was a different story in the last Monsoon Cup as my crew and I were competing for the first time and we were having a hard time understanding some of the rules of match racing.” The Monsoon Cup is the only Asian venue on World Match Racing Tour.
