Interview Zuzanna Gladysz , skipper POL team:
In Croatia we have already participated in regattas for classes Optimist, 470 and Laser Radial.
We have been competing in womens matc h race discipline for the past two years. This is the very first WMR that has set very high organizational standards. We are trilled with Marina Frapa , especially with organization which we enjoy. Not only that everything functions smoothly on land , but at racing area as well where no time is spared and ideal sailing conditions are used to the maximum to accomplish as many matches as possible in one racing day.
We are very greatful to the host and organizer how welcomed we feel.
Likewise we have to convay compliments to servis staff who have done an exceptional job in doing small repairs at sea. This repairs were neccesarry for the race to continue. First Class 7500 boat is one of the types that we like the most among those that we came accross in WMR.
Interview Ana Catarina Carvalho, skipper POR team:
We have never been to Croatia before and we are glad that we chose this race for our first visti to this country. We have to admit that we kind of knew where we were coming as we like the impressions from our compatriot friend, Marie Ramires, who participated in last years WMR.
Organization on land is flawless. Our complements for accommodation and food.
We have been participating in WMR for the past 3,5 years. This crew is together for two years now. We have never sailed on this type of boat before, and on we panicked a bit on offical training day :“ How on earth are we going to sail this race?“. However, as we have adapted and accepted this boat little by little, now we are thrilled with this type of boat
