At the WIMRA General Meeting at the ISAF Women’s Match Racing World Championship in Lysekil, Sweden, it was announced that the Governing Council and Officers for 2008 were re-elected for 2009. Nominations were received from the membership via email in the months prior to the meeting and the Council members were elected.

* Representative for North America & The Caribbean: Liz Baylis (USA)
* Representative for Oceania: Katie Spithill (AUS)
